Scholarships Awarded in Samoa! Jungle Produce owner Geoff Pritchard had the great honour of presenting the “Gabrielle Pritchard Scholarship Award” to two outstanding Samoan students
Since 1977 we have been working with the Samoan locals to establish food safety programs, ethical sourcing and export opportunities.
For many island nations coconut exports are vital to the socio-economic condition of their villages. Coconuts are a cash crop and provide income directly to the villagers, allowing them to obtain basic daily needs which are not able to be produced or grown in the village.
Jungle Produce also plays an important role in community support, providing financial aid to schools, orphanages and those with medical needs. Educational Scholarships are awarded annually and donations of sporting boots and equipment are collected and sent from Australia.

Mosman Rugby lend Samoa a hand providing Palalaua College which much needed sport gear after the devastation of Cylone Evan in 2012
After the devastation of the Tsunami our Company Director pioneered an annual rugby tournament where over 100 parents and Australian Rugby Union players visit Samoa. The tour includes games and community work and gives the Australian kids an appreciation of the Samoan culture and an opportunity to make new friends.
In 2013 the tournament will be held in Australia and the Samoan Rugby kids and their families will be travelling to Sydney.
